Desktop Girl of the Week: Emma Stone

I know it seems like I'm choosing Emma Stone based on the image of her as a blonde from the other day, but it actually dates to this past weekend... and technically back to Thanksgiving.

See, on Thanksgiving, Amazon.com was having a big sale on movies, and I used this opportunity to grab some movies I'd missed out on when they first came out on Blu-ray, including "Zombieland". I saw the movie in theaters and loved it. It wasn't solely because of Stone, but she was a huge part of it. Of course, she was also a huge part of the reason I loved "Superbad" too. Hell, she even made "The House Bunny" watchable.

Now, somehow this summer, I totally missed out on the opportunity to see "Easy A" in theaters, despite the fact that it featured three different DGOW selections (Stone, Amanda Bynes and Aly Michalka). I'll definitely be buying it on Blu-ray when it comes out in two weeks, rather than waiting until next Thanksgiving for it to possibly go on sale.

Also, as I mentioned in yesterday's post, I'm way more excited about the "Spider-Man" reboot now that I've seen how much Stone looks like Ultimate Gwen Stacy.

As always with DGOW, I’ll provide a widescreen (1680x1050) image for downloading. If you want to see past DGOW, then just check the archive album.
