SNY HD Now Available on AT&T U-Verse

High Definition scares Omar Minaya as much acquiring competent players
I switched my television service to AT&T's U-Verse a couple years ago for multiple reasons, not the least of which was they were the only local provider who offered SNY, the Mets channel. Now, finally, the Mets have reached equal footing with the Yankees (YESHD, 1702) and the Red Sox (NESNHD, 1712), getting HD status on AT&T U-Verse.

If you already get SNY on your U-Verse package, just flip to channel 1704 and you'll find SNY HD, just in time for the 2010 baseball season. Now you can see Luis Castillo drop pop-ups, David Wright hit warning track fly balls and Kelvim Escobar Jose Reyes Carlos Beltran some other inevitable Met get hurt in beautiful 720p or 1080i with 5.1 surround sound (perfect for hearing all the boos at CorporateEntityField!). Maybe Omar Minaya's non-moves will look even better in crystal clear HD!

Wow, baseball season hasn't even started and I'm ridiculously bitter already. Well, it's time to put 2009 and SD Mets games in the past. It's 2010. A new season is beginning, and I can watch it in high definition. Let's Go Mets!
