Season 4, Episode 18 - Where The Wild Things Are
Original airdate: April 25, 2000
Project 310 re-watch date: March 4, 2009
I don’t want to write too much about this episode, because, well, it’s bad. Basically, Buffy and Riley are having sex a lot, releasing some kind of poltergeist-based energy in the frat house, that causes all sorts of mystical disturbances. If someone can’t stop them from having sex, they’ll die.
There’s no Adam at all in this episode, and the “villain” isn’t really even a thing, so it’s hard to get excited about this episode.
The one thing I caught on rewatching that I hadn’t noticed before is the old woman who ran the house back when it was a boarding house for children is the woman who plays Mrs. McClusky on “Desperate Housewives”. I recognized her voice right away. Back when I first watched this episode, “Desperate Housewives” was on, but she wasn’t nearly a regular yet, so I didn’t catch that connection.
Favorite Quote:Buffy: “I just had no idea. It's so creepy. He was really singing?”
