At the end of regulation, Phil Dawson attempts a 51-yard field goal that hits high off the upright, then appears to hit the crossbar and bounce back into the end zone, thus giving the Ravens a 3-point win. But upon further review (after the Ravens had already gone to the locker room) it was determined that the kick hit the back support, not the crossbar, so it was already through, and therefore good. The Browns went on to win the game in overtime.
The refs made the right call in the end here, and in doing so might have saved the Browns playoff hopes.
