Long overdue update

OK, so you may have noticed that the archive section got incredibly longer last week, while the new entries, well, were non-existent.
Yeah, that’s totally my bad.
See, I spent so much time going back and tracking down all my previous blogs and entries, that by the time I was done, I was too tired to actually write anything new.
But now, that’s not the case.
First up, I’m really enjoying my new job. It’s everything I ever dreamed of from a job, plus so much more. However, I am actually going back to Apple, part-time, because I could use the extra money, plus I miss the experience of working there. So, for the foreseeable future, my free time will be limited, but I think I’ll be able to make it work.
In other news, I moved some stuff around at my condo, relating to the display of my Buffy stuff. The picture to the left shows the new busts and PALz display. I was planning on adding more shelves for future PALz, but with Palisades Toys going bankrupt, there may not actually be any. However, the company that bought out Palisades’ licenses has promised that the Slayer’s Scythe will ship on March 6, so that’ll go next to the Sword of Angelus.
Also, Suncoast was having a huge going-out-of-business sale, so I finally picked up all 5 seasons of Angel on DVD. I’ve already watched all of them before (thanks to Netflix) but now I have them for my own personal collection (which I will find a way to get onto my iWeb site at some point).
As for other stuff that’s going on, I know I mentioned in a previous entry that Pooz and I were working on a comic. Well, the first issue has been written, and Pooz is in the process of drawing it right now. I’m working on putting up a mini-site for it, and will let you all know when that actually happens (though, given my track record lately, that could be sometime in December).
I’m also planning a trip to Chicago this summer, as I have back-to-back vacation weeks from work, and I hope to attend both the annual Slay-a-Thon at Dave & Buster’s as well as Wizard World Chicago, plus maybe a baseball game or two. I’ll let everyone know more as I know more.
Until then...
