Not so productive...

So remember when I said I was going to do something other than play video games and watch movies all day on my day off. Whoops. I played Mario Golf and NBA Ballers, and watched "The Italian Job." Still, getting a movie sent back to Netflix is always an accomplishment.

Even though the apartment plans aren't close to final, I'm already making plans for moving out of here, which include buying retro video game systems. In the past two days I've picked up an SNES and a Saturn and Geoff has offered me his NES, so the Apple Frat House (as we've been known to call it) should have just about every major game system released from 1985 on (and no, the Atari Jaguar and Sega CD systems don't count as major, you loser). Just to clarify, it will likely be NES, SNES, Genesis, N64, Saturn, Dreamcast, PS1, PS2, Xbox, GameCube and GBA. We may forgo hooking up an actual PS1 (since the PS2 emulates it fine), but Pooz does have one. And yes, there will be multiple switches involved. Particularly a four-port component switch and a six-port S-video/composite switch.

In related news, I'm still single.

On to less pathetic items, I'm getting close on the book. If I get motivated on Tuesday, I may put up a book history timeline page, and post that PDF of the first three chapters I've been promising. Right now I'm more concerned with finding the short story that comprises the key to the final chapter. I know it's on one of my backup CDs, I'm just not sure which one.
